From the M6 take Junction 6 to City Centre (A38M)
Stay on the A38 from the end of the motorway section through Birmingham City Centre. You will drive over one overpass next to Aston University then through three underpasses. After the third underpass move into the left hand lane (Bristol Street Motors) and take the left filter at the lights on the inner ring road. Move immediately into the right hand lane to turn right at the first roundabout (Signs to Redditch and Stirchley). Follow this road (A4040) past Edgbaston Cricket ground and Birmingham Nature Centre to your left until you come to a large fitness centre. (Approx 3 miles) Turn left at the lights into Cartland Road. For the main school go to the top of Cartland Road and turn left into Vicarage Road. Go straight on through the lights; the entrance is on the left. At the bottom of the drive turns left and find a parking space. The boys' school entrance is on the left hand side of the car park.
From M42 Junction 3 go north on the A435 and follow the signs to Birmingham at each roundabout. After a pub on the left and some shops you will meet a long straight stretch of road. At the end of this stretch there are some traffic lights. Turn left into Howard Road. Next you will meet a mini-roundabout at which you should turn right into Colmore Road. At the end of Colmore Road turn left and then immediately right into the school.
At the end of the drive, turn left. The boys' school entrance is on the left hand side of the car park.
Please be considerate and assist where possible all non-car drivers, especially on Fridays with the dark evenings or in bad weather, to make sure our sisters and brothers using the buses get home safely. Buses tend to run less frequently after 7pm.
11 Circle buses (every 10 minutes towards KE on Fridays and 20 minutes later in evening to return home, every 15 minutes on Sundays) – stops on Vicarage Rd.
35 which runs from Priory Queensway Bus Mall & Corporation St (every 15 minutes towards KE on Fridays and 30 minutes later in evening to return home, every 20 minutes on Sundays) – stops on Vicarage Rd.
76 which runs Solihull <-> University Rail Station (through Selly Oak) (every 20 minutes towards KE on Fridays and 30 minutes later in evening to return home, every 30 minutes on Sunday) – stops on Avenue Rd.
27 which runs from Northfield Rail Station <-> Maypole (every 20 minutes towards KE on Fridays and every hour later in evening to return home, every 20 minutes on Sunday) – stops on Cartland Rd & Avenue Rd.
50 which runs from Moor St Bus Mall (every 10 minutes daily) – stops at Kings Heath High St or Howard Rd (Alcester Rd), approx 10-15min walk.
45/47 which runs from Priory Queensway Bus Mall & Corporation St (every 15 minutes on Fridays in both directions, every 10 minutes on Sundays) – stops at Ribblesdale Rd on the Pershore Rd (opposite the end of Cartland Rd), approx 10-15 minute walk.
